Manually adding SIP creds into a Grandstream Phone

To manually add your extension to a phone, you will need some information from us first. Then, follow the steps below.


First, press the up arrow on the phone. It will show the phone's IP address. You will need to log in to the phone. Look for the IPv4 address. Usually, it will be 192.168.X.X if you're on Bell or 10.0.0.X if you're on Rogers. Note that your IP might be different. It just depends on the router you are using. 


In the example below, the phone IP is 192.168.11.158.





Open up Chrome, Firefox or Edge and type the phone's IP in the address bar, not the search box below.



Press enter then you'll see this screen.



The default login
Username: admin
Password: admin


After you have entered your password, you'll see this screen.




Click on Accounts then Account1


We will provide all the details and where to input them


Account Name: Your Name
SIP Server: Provided by us
Outbound Proxy: Provided by us (will be the same as SIP Server)
SIP User ID: Your extension Number
SIP Authentication ID: Your extension Number
Password: Provided by us
Name: Your name
Voicemail Access Number: *97

Enter the information that was provided to you.  Then click on Save and Apply.

If you click on Status you should see account 1 go from Red to Green.


There is 1 other thing you will need to change. 


Click on Settings, then General



Where it says Use Random Port, click on No then Save and Apply. Then you're done.


That's all that you need to do.
